Wow, quite an interesting colour to say the least. I bet it looks absolutely stunning in both bright day light, and that cloudy overcast just before it rains (you know, the setting that makes our angel eyes look stunning?!)

how does the frozen paint compare to matte offerings from mercedes for example?

it looks to me like it's a happy medium between matte and metallic paint. really quite beautiful.

Yep

The paint very much has a shimmer to it, not really totally matt, appears a more satin finish than matt I would say.
Don't quite know what people thing is wrong with the wheels , I love them, just the right amount of 'bling' shiny with darker bits, a nice combo, I think the wheels perfectly complement the rest of the car

I agree the wheels and whole package is excellent.

If the cost of change wasn't massive I would be looking to get into one of these.

Yeah, I love the design of 601's!

However, I AM disappointed that BMW didn't have them forged....???? Seems backwards to have them as the standard Comp Pack wheel, yet it's cast....??

Mercedes is no better with the wheels on its E63 S -- it's equivalent to the M5 comp package. The stock wheels are 10 spoke cast wheels. You can get the forged AMG wheels but they are a $1700 option and they are very hard to order on a new car because they are in short supply.

I just ordered my M5 with ZCP and got the 343M black wheels and they're forged at no additional cost. I did notice the 601's were not forged though.

Nowt wrong with that Chris

Beautiful car, I like the gold callipers, mine has the standard brakes but very effective, now done 2500 Miles, just quite amazing for a saloon car!
Very understated, subtle, comfortable, incredible road holding, handling & brakes
Very impressed with fuel consumption for such a performance car!
Incredible power delivery and torque, the most impressive thing about the car.

Still carried away with this car, not found much wrong with it so far, maybe pedal layout but that's about all.
Hope you enjoy your car as much as I do.

Beautiful car
Absolutely gorgeous
Love also how BMW has eliminated allot of the chrome accents that look out of place on our cars

Had to look up the definition of "chuffed" Think I'll try to use it in conversation tomorrow.
