Would This Make an Engine Run Lean

Currently I have bolted BMS intake, piggy tune (conservative setup) and magnaflow exhaust. I’m planning to install catted AMS DPs in two weeks, or so. Will this setup cause my engine run lean?

I think you need to tune your dme first to make your trim good not maxed out
With high octane too
If jb4 with meth kit its ok
You can use big nozzle with map 8
You will be satisfied

I’m not a fan of JB4 and meth. I’m ok with getting a tune in order to prevent engine running lean

Ideal is running JB4+meth and running a compatible BEF(back end flash) to richen the air/fuel in relation to the JB4(plus all the BEF benefits like remove top speed limiter and cold start rev etc)....the OEM tune is already set too lean....end goal is more power than just an ECU tune

Would flash tune fix this issue?

Talk to your tuner and they may or may not recommend an update to adjust air/fuel ratio etc

Dump the piggyback and stick to a proper tune. Leave your OEM cats on or go full catless (OEM flows well). Stage 1 is good power with longevity

I already purchased catted AMS DPs. I’m seeking input before I install them in order to avoid catastrophe. Ditching piggy tune is not an issue btw. I just want to make sure that running air intake, DPs and let’s say any tune, will not cause engine operating lean.
