New M5 F10 Imperial Blue / Nutmeg
Featured on BIMMERPOST.com finally the day was there last thursday to pick up the new car in the BMW Welt. It was delivered with winter tires (20" Dunlop) as we still have some snowy and icy conditions here in Germany. Summer tires Michelin PSS will be delivered through my dealer soon. Currently trying to behave well until the 2000km oil change ;-)

The rims look like the 20" 303 model from the 7 Series.

The wheels are style 409M. They're the 20" OEM winters for the M5.
There's also a 19" version called 408M that looks similar.

Congratulations! Great color. If you can, post some pics of the interior. Nice color combo. I'm starting to get excited again like I was when I ordered it way back when. Mine is finally built and waiting for a taxi.

This is correct. The 19" 408M's were the original OEM winter wheel for the F10 M5, but when the 2014's came out with the option for a Carbon Ceramic Brake, the 19" 408M Wheel wouldn't fit over the size of the Carbon Rotors, so they just took the same design of the 408M and increased it to 20" so that it could fit over the Carbon Rotors. Now you can ask for the 409M instead of the 408M when picking winter wheels, even if you don't have CCB's, just like the OP did. Blue.Thunder has also been running with the 409M's with the CCB's and it looks awesome.

Congrats, nice car!
I have same color and same winter rims. The car looks good with them and I dont feel bad when I channge them at the end of summer. Yours looks so shiny! Mine does not shine so much. Maybe this is a special wax for first time delivery? Maybe is because I handwash it, and I should move to a tunnel auto wash... |

The handling with the winter tires is OK although I am currently not going faster than 170 km/h and light on the throttle. I have no comparison to the Michelin PSS as this is my first M5.
The shine of the paintwork is probably due to the flash of the camera, in reality is is not brighter compared to my last BMWs in the same color.
