Front rotor disc cracks on m5 f10

Hi!
My name is asaf im from israel.
I bought 5 months ago m5 f10 from Spain and export it to israel.
The car had 11000 km when i bought it.
Now the car have 17000 km and i discovered that in the front disc rotor there are plenty of cracks on the rotors.
I went to bm service and they said there is no problem and thats the way its so pose to be.

Is that so?

I'll forward this picture to my BMW service Advisor who is very knowledgeable and get back to you no later than Monday. You must live on the coast as I'm amazed at the amount of rust on the rotor.

I don't know what you call your BMW dealers answer in Israel; however I'd call it Bull $hit here in America.

The special service dealer send the pics to main service in germany and he said that this was there pro answer. I realy want to know if its a pure bloff or if it realy can get a such poor answer. I also have 911 turbo with 45000 km that was more than one time on a race track and the rotors are new.

Thanks for help.

Still not heard back from my BMW Rep.

I'll hear on Monday for sure. I went out and looked at my rotors @ 1,650 miles and they look as you would expect, NEW.

Yours almost look like someone got them HOT and then drove in salt water.

Will communicate on Monday.

Regards,

Those micro cracks aren't anything to be concerned about. If the cracks spread from one drilled hole to another or if the cracks are big enough to catch your fingernail in then you should replace the rotors. I imagine that your car has seen track use prior to your purchase?
