First European Customer M5 Manhart MH5S

I announced it here before. My car went to Wuppertal, Germany to get the Stage 4 treatment by Manhart Racing. First of all, let me tell you that all the people there and foremost Franz Simon did an awesome job. Eye for detail, proper information along the way and enormous know-how. Many thanks to the Manhart team for doing an incredible job. No other tuning company will ever touch my car.

So what was achieved?
660 whp and 900Nm (or 664 lb/ft) of torque.
You do the math.

On a wet Autobahn using the v-box we achieved a 100-200 km/h or 62-125mph of 6.5 seconds. Can you imagine what this will do on a dry road? Crazy numbers.

According to Franz this is the most powerful F10 M5 ever tested.
I am well pleased. Absolute madness to have wheelspin at 125mph.

Manhart Racing

Of course I will provide DIN dyno runs and v-box results.
Just give me some time to get this sorted.

Congratulations on your MH5S

Those numbers are really impressive and shows that Manhart Racing's claims for their own car is now backed up by customer cars as well

I believe your 100-200km/h number of 6,5sec is only 2 tenths slower than MHR achieved in the DRY with their own car

I completely agree with your views on MHR and Franz Simon
Top company and Franz is a REALLY nice guy.

Looking forward to more pictures, videos and test results

Would be nice to see some 1/4 mile times with and without drag radials.

I hope Manhart will provide you with before and after dyno sheets? If not, then I don't know how on earth they are tuning your car for better performance!!

Thankfully Manhart and other tuners know how to tune cars then

Dynoing a car is just one way of measuring power gains. Acceleration timing and time between speeds is one other very good way of determining power gains. Possibly even better as that measurement is done with the car in a "real life" environment. Dynos have quite a few variables that can be misinterpreted or manipulated to make a small gain seem like a big one.

MHR have done before and after dyno runs on their own car. They have (from what I can tell) possibly done at least a after dyno run on this car. But more significant, there are comparable acceleration times for stock, Hartge, MH5S and M-Bitious's car. You cannot make a car that much quicker without some real power gains.

And, I would also think that MHR has done their development work on their own car so they know what changes to make to get the desired power level. If you buy a BMW Motorsport Power Kit for your BMW (for those models it's available for), BMW doesn't need to dyno every car before and after to know what power gain their tune makes. The majority of tuning companies use one or two cars for develoment work and then make their software and hardware based on the development results. Some offer dyno/acceleration timing of before and after if the customer desires it. But it's not like they develop a completely brand new software for each and every car of the same model they tune... Tuners usually have a base software which either is just flashed to the ECU "as is" or is individually adapted to each car.

Ahmed, I am sorry dude, but you need to read better. I just said I will provide dyno sheets and v-box results. Just be patient and don't be negative just because you didn't read porperly.

Thanks.

Today I had some interesting encounters and like to give you the results. I had 3 passengers.

MH5S vs Ferrari 430 = 1:0
MH5S vs Ferrari 458 = 1:0
MH5S vs M5 E60, tuned = 1:0
MH5S vs Porsche GT3 = 1:0
MH5S vs Manhart MH5S = 1:0

Franz from MHR, who was present at the event, was quite impressed that from 120 km/h in fourth while I was with 4 in the car, and he by himself, he simply couldn't keep up. Guys this Stage 4 is just crazy, especially the M5 owner was really surprised when he ran against me, as he didn't know my car was tuned. Thumbs up to Manhart Racing for an amazing accomplishment.

Right now this is the fastest F10 M5 in the world!

That is awesome M-bitious.

Some serious machinery you have been up against, AND beaten! Who needs dyno sheets when you can have the real thing in real life

Happy for you and your car

Have you been able to do much normal driving with the Stage 4 tune? Even stock this car can spin the wheels at slow speeds if the driver isn't careful. Is your transmission the DCT or manual? Great looking car by the way, and I envy you the opportunity to deal with all that power!

Of course at lower speeds the car struggles for traction, but once it rolls, it is actually pretty good. But there is enough power to have the tration control light come on at 130 mph. I am positively surprised how useable all that power is. I have the DCT tranny.
I have now driven the car for quite some miles and I can actually feel the power increase a bit as the computer adapts itself. Wonderful. Will dyno again.

Impressive! Please post your Vbox results

Hartge clocked the stock M5 at 19,9s from 80-250km/h. Adding your 100-200 and 200-250 times gives a 100-250 time of 13,8s...

If you allow a second from 80-100 (it takes less but just to compare and I'm at the airport flying home from Monaco so I'm not bothered to find out exact time) that will give you a 80-250 time of 14,8s.

That is a full 5 sec faster than clocked by Hartge on a stock M5...!!! A video and Vbox graphs of your Vbox claims would be interesting
