Sunroof opening all the way?

Before I take it to the shop I thought I would ask....When you open your sunroof all the way is there about 3-4 inches of the glass still showing? I thought my old 535 parked the sunroof out of sight so the entire opening was unobstructed??? I searched the forum and didn't see any other posts on this issue so I think I may have a problem.

It doesn't slide all the way into the enclosure. About 3-4 inches shows.

The only thing I can figure is that the wiring for the GPS fin on the roof above the rear glass may restrict how far back the sunroof can go
