The absolute best oil to use in our m5

What is the recommened oil for the bmw m5? is there a specific oil specification that needs to be used?
i plan on running Quaker state full sythetic as its the best motor oil out there currently.

BMW Longlife-01 FE

I personally never used BMW oils, but that has been my choice.

I use Castrol Edge 0W40, Castrol is what's written on the oil cap.

My oil cap has no writing on it but I’m going to be using 5W-30 Quaker steak

Best to use what's recommended in the hand book, if that's what it says in the US book then it's ok.
