Does anyone know any details about next years new facelift Aventador S that's coming out? It will be at the Geneva motor show in March and I hear it's going to be a considerable upgrade.. 4 wheel steering, tweaked gearbox, improved navy and infotainment, more horses and quicker than the current SV

Curious if you guys know anymore In the States about it...?

If you are lucky enough to get on the buyers list now pre-launch how long will that cut out on the waiting list?

Worthy investment or quick flip opportunity perhaps?

Stock per stock, a Lamborghini Aventador (even the "base" LP 700-4; not even the LP 750-4) would beat a BMW M5 F10 anyday

Beat the 918 by 1mph and slower by 1mph to the P1. Found boost leak (4psi bank 1), so should beat 'me next time!

they wont be limited run numbers. but there will be a fair waiting list for those looking to order after Geneva. not if you've just put a deposit down on one pre-launch

The aventador is a cow though. The curb weight is over 4K lbs. Lamborghini only likes to advertise the dry weight so they don't scare you away

Doesn't the front end of the new aventador look like a vector?

Personally no, I think the Mclaren is amazing and it's faster. However, if you're more into driving cool cars for the sake of being cool and showing off and finding the best fake tits in town then there's no substitute for the Aventador. I've driven a handful of them and there's always a cell phone out filming you and people taking pics when it's parked and it's a headache. If you drive recklessly, someone has you on YouTube or social media within 2 min, You're always being watched.

The 2012 was actually my favorite, they did a software tune to slow the gear shifts and soften up the suspension for the 14 and future yrs. That tranny shifted faster than most DCT's at 50 milliseconds, it was brutal. Could have been more than software but the 12 was special. Customers were complaining about the gear shifts being too harsh for when they were driving around cities, utter nonsense. Haven't driven an SV yet but i'm sure that bit of magic was brought back. Sick sick sick car but a huge downside to owning one.

. I prefer pure driving enjoyment and certainly not to turn heads or end up on YouTube or a bloggers channel.. I'd rarely track my car either.. bit of a waste I guess some will say..! the macca drives perfectly and ticks all the boxes, but I've never even sat in an lambo.. childhood dream I guess... I've got my name down on this new one pre-launch you see. I can always cancel and get deposit back before spec time comes but I could also sell it quite quickly and make a few quid before others get the chance to buy a new one and join the waiting list ...
Didn't want to flip it and regret it if it's a beaut to drive. Wish I could have both, even for a short while
