Ok so I figured out what is going on. There is another MKVI Tornado Red 2 door GTI that blasts through town. I told my boss this story and he said yeah you didn't know?

My attorney is going to write a letter to the Department and to the Judge as well. This is BS.

Dude, how do you know the person really is a cop? If they saw you speeding, wouldn't they just pull you over and give you a ticket? But instead, they look you up and gave your mother a call? It's a bit of a stretch. I think you've got punk'd.

I was sorta wondering that too.... why wouldn't he have gotten pulled over, how did they associate it with your mother and her number, etc etc

This is you best choice of action. Anything else will get you screwed. I had a similar experience with a local cop from another town and he refused to believe me DESPITE my profession. He actually started screaming at me demanding respect. I politely told him to fuck off and write me the ticket since that's all he could do. I don't recommend that option though. I feel your pain.

This kind of shit is the hardest thing I fight in this profession.
