Can't go wrong with alpine white. The one from the Frankfurt show looked awesome with the blue brakes.

Congratulations. I'm on the allocation list through our dealer in Canada. I was told yesterday that we will be able to order the car in March with June delivery. I have a question. What were the interior trim choices if you ordered full merino leather. My wife has a 2011 X5M and we were able to order Carbon Black Leather Trim order code 4MY, dealer here in Canada is saying that it is not avaiable on 2012 M5 ? Any thoughts ? Thank you.

I will attach what I ordered(OP), to be quite honest, I wanted Pianolack Black, but it wasn't available =[

I ended up getting 4CE Fine-wood trim 'Fineline' anthracite.

We just came back from dealer and have an appointment next Wed Jan 25 to order vehicle. They are telling us that production starts March 1 2012. This is our close to final order still have a few days to think about all the combinations.

The dealer also gave us a 2012 Product Planning Bulletin from BMW Canada that said " there is a material change expected to the M5 ' s vehicle electronics as of July 2012 production. "

Any thoughts should we be waiting for the 2013 model year.

Was your dealer able to estimate pricing on the option packages?

I've spec'd a very similar package, but passed on the Night Vision with Pedestrian Detection.
