HELP!! Looking for an Exhaust

So I've been looking around for exhausts and having searched this forum, I'm still not sure which exhaust to get.
I am looking for an exhaust that is not too loud from the stock car but gives me the most possible power gains. Looked at akrapovic, however it is very expensive compared to the Eisenmann, however, the Eisenmann doesnt post any performace figures.

The Eisenmann will most certainly give you a solid gain. Meistershaft is also another choice.

Seems like Eisenmann will be the way to go.
Thanks @Tylerstar

I have the car just over 1 yr now and after waiting for all the different brands and their sounds, I just ordered E-sport 4x102 last week (no mid pipe for now).

btw, Dinan has just release theirs recently and sell for $4000 US but with 15% off (til end of Nov) and it claims no drone at all.

Hey Bud, did you put exhaust on yet? I am waiting to listen to it.

I was looking at the Turner exhaust and it was everything I was looking for except the fact you have to cut into the stock exhaust to make it fit. Completely turned me off.

The shop just ordered it this week and he thinks it should be here by end of November or 1st week of December. I also asked him to quote me how much to ceramic/powder coat the tips (probably matte/satin black) locally as well as it will take another few days to get it done.

For now, I am booking the install for 3rd week of December, just before Xmas. Will pm you to have a quick meet up, if your timing is okay.

All right Steve. Let me know when you finish the project.
It is my pleasure to listen to the Eisenmann exhaust on a F10 m5 in person.

+1 for the RPI as an option, guaranteed performance gains and is a full exhaust. and since youre looking for not too loud compared to stock, Id recommend the GTS for you, which includes mufflers and resonators.

go for the Meistershaft or Esienmann. I have the Akra on mine and regreted it. Not worth the price IMO.

Looking forward your feedback as I am thinking to change the rear-end exhaust. Looking for something that will give more tuned bass sound at startup and overall RPM rev than stock exhaust.

I'm skeptical Akrapovic gives power gains because it leaves resonator in place. The Full Eisenmann has no resonator so it will be more free flowing than the Akrapovic. The real advantage of the Akrapovic is really weight not power. If you want a lighter Eisenmann you can special order it in Inconel alloy.

BTW if you want Eisenmann, I'm selling my x-pipes since I don't have place to store the OEM exhaust. I can have them polished up to look new by IND first if you're interested.

Exhaust on the F10 M5 is all about sound. Performance Gaines are negligible. And I would argue that titanium while very elegant and light will not change the overall performance of this fat beast. So just go with what looks and sounds the best to you.

If you want an aggressive cold start roar there is one obvious choice!!
E race.

Installed my E Race yesterday sounds great however it wasn't as loud initially but I'm sure that will change after a while. I think later on I'll go with the connecting pipes as well. Also, I wasn't aware the stock M5 exhaust needs to be cut off for the section 3 part only.

If you think the E Race isn't loud enough try the mid pipes and DPs

Who needs power gains on a 560/575 hp car? I'm pretty sure that's more than most of us can handle anyway.
Just focus on looks and sound.

Agreed on the wight savings. That can also be accomplished much cheaper by adding CF hood, roof, or trunk. I am not an engineer but i have aways been told that the resonators on a turbo'd car provide the back pressure to allow the turbos to be primed therefor spooling much quicker. Removing them would take this benefit away?
