My results from ams downpipes and jb4

Hi I just finish on Friday the installation of ams catless down-pipe and burger tuning and the guys at Predator performance did Dyno run after each step to record the gains. So hopefully u guys can use this information for your own benefit.
All run were on the same day, same Dyno and it was a mustang Dyno.. ( heart break Dyno ).
Temp 86 and humidity 54%.

Sorry I am doing this post on my iPad and I can't seem to get attachment in the correct order.
But in the Dyno pic after ams downpipe I was very impress with the midrange gain around the
4500 rev range it's at least 50 to 55 hp.....
And I know my number could improve but at the end the car was getting hot and there was no time to let it cool down for a last run with racing gas with the 2 map....
I am very happy with the results... And the new sound .... Well what can I say .... It's 5 am and I am going for a drive to nowhere just so I can hear over and over again the shifting sound....

Hi boot I know u did first the gtm and then the down pipes, but how much louder will it get with the resonated gtm exhaust...
I am btw the RPI GTM or M-performance...
I am afraid the RPI are to loud vs MPE is to expensive.. 6,600.00 plus tax 7000.00....

Does anybody know why the torque curve deeps in the early rev range so much with the downpipes... If the torque would stay up in the normal range the hp gain would be improved

Hi when u add straight pipe it gets louder. But inside the car is a rumble. That us all u get at normal operating speeds been u romp on it that's a different story. The sound is bad azz. So crushing speeds the kids can go to sleep. Wot will be a lot louder but nice sounding. Stock 4 gts 6 gtm 8 add dp 10 in regards to loudness at wot. Hope this helps. Switching to straight pipe was the best thing to do. U won't regret it.
Oh yea. Gtm cheaper and sounds better. That's not me telling you that's some if the guys here in Houston say. If course I agree or I'd have switched them out. It's like watching the six million dollar man in action. Press peddle go!

Try doing a new run when the DME has adapted to the boost characteristics with downpipes. It might need to relearn and adopt a new boost strategy now that the turbos lack the restriction from the old catalysts and downpipes. Could be that it drops boost. Or it could detect knock and pull ignition or boost based on that as well...

Thanks to both boots and boss.. I will make another dyno possibly in one month or after RPI gtm installation. I am going to have the end on the downpipe remove and the exhaust placed end to end... Not telescope over the end of the downpipes... I seems that that pieces restrict the flow some... Will see...
