Low RPM noise - Wastegate issue?
***EDIT**Problem solved - installed new gaskets and got rid of the noise anomaly
BMS filters, charcoal filter delete, Akrapovic exhaust Low rpm noise that I noticed while in the garage; it doesn't seem to be a rattle or flutter noise - more like a high pitched whining noise I tried changing between Sport+, Sport, and Eco modes and noise didnt really change. Can anyone confirm if normal or abnormal? Is that whirling noise just turbines? Thanks! Listen with HD quality and headphones if possible. http://youtu.be/B2NuJvwyURM

I'll make another video this weekend- I had the akra installed when I had about 1000 miles on the car; I reused the gaskets since the car was still so new.
I also have these noises strictly between 1000-1200 rpm, a little faint and only occurs when the car is warmed up. Build date is April 2013

Always change seals/gaskets. As soon as they seated they shouldn't be reused. It's simply best practice. IMO.

But the sound is not a rattling....its literally a whirling/whistling. Could be gaskets, but it sounds like some sort of a pump motor bearing noise to me. |

You have an Akra exhaust with stock downpipes, right?
In that case, it can't be the gaskets. You probably have an exhaust leak. Which can be solved rather easily. The car needs to be put up on a lift, and while the engine is running and revving, a mechanic under the car will identify the source of the exhaust leak and correct by adjusting the fit of the exhaust pipes.

We then opened the hood and the noise got louder. Noise is definitely coming from within the engine bay. 100% I'm bringing it in for diagnosis soon. I'll keep you guys informed

***EDIT**Problem solved - installed new gaskets and got rid of the noise anomaly
Just put in new gaskets. Still need to drive the car around a bit more to let it set in. Sounds seems to be a lot less now. Keep ya'll updated soon, as the gaskets settle. I have a feeling this may have fixed the problem Old video - noise After installation of new gaskets

Late to the party, but is that old video available? I've got some rattling that's been happening over the last year.. and its driving me crazy.
I also have akra, and stock DP, and I didn't change the gasket when it was installed at around 15K.. |

Luckily with stock downpipes, you can swap out the gaskets from under the car, without having to remove the exhaust completely. Simply disconnect the exhaust from the downpipes and pull it backwards to allow some slack, replace the gaskets and ensure they seat properly
