I used a vbox, what did you use?
Vbox sport 20hz. Also do a standing start ,would be nice to see a 1/4 mile speed . This is my 1/4 and half mile from the same run and the 60-130 mph for us yanks was 7.36 sec .

Sorry I didn't post the right screenshot . I had two 7.3x and one 7.5x , missed a shift a bit on the 7.5 /1/4 mile run .

After som questions and accusations on the Leib thread over on the F8x forums (that's a tough crowd BTW), I looked up Leib's Facebook page and found this:

- vmax will be removed completely, about > 360 km/h
- mini cat's will be removed and the CEL (check engine light) will be removed
- for STAGE 2, there will be a new manifold with a bigger Profile with a perfect Setting

This will be a Monster...

No worries about sending the ecus, people send much more fragile and expensive parts across the globe.

I'd like to add the following to Leib's work. Dominik is an absolute pro and a pleasure to work with.

- Cell has been programmed out for the catless SS downpipes.

- Removed three speed limiters, 1 from the gearbox and 2 from the DME's, but there is still one left ;-) Still limited at 315 km/h GPS. We did find number 4, but need to go back to Germany to get the remap.

- Removed the 4,000 rpm limiter when stationary (not when engine is cold)

- Dominik also found out why my car sometimes went into limp mode under certain conditions, which is valid for all other M5's. This can only be fixed with a remap on the ecu's. It will only happen above certain bhp. Please appreciate that I cannot reveal his trade secret here.

- The torque on my engine is much more in line with the oem torque line. Piggybags usually have a lower torque to start with but a peak at high rpm's.

- We could take the bhp and torque to higher levels, but then we would have to make changes in mapping files that would jeopardice the limp mode of BMW, which I find unacceptable. Also at some point either the gearbox or the engine will fail. We are now on the safe side of things.

Did you have a chance to do some more vbox testing?

My brother, yes you can send them the ECUs, but you can also speak with Franz about this. He can sort you out.

The only vbox test I have done was 100-200 km/h in 6.2 seconds and max speed of 316 km/h. It is raining here all the time and I really need a dry, warm road. Biggest problem with 100-200 is traction. Even with 6.2 I had some wheel spin, so I should be able to break the 6 seconds barrier.

They will also remove the 315km/h limiter, but a new flash is needed

So is it just brute force hacking that they are only able to do in-house?

Or do they see this eventually being able to be adapted into flash tunes?

Question Production Tune?

Is this tune in full production yet, or still being beta tested? After reading through the thread it appears that they are a few kinks that are being worked out.

Is there any warranty with this tune, my guess not.

Considering that the shop is only about 1.5 hour from where I live I might stop by to check out this outfit.

Nope it is fully operational and flawless. I don't believe there is any other F10 M5 running on normal fuel with 647 RWHP. The only thing remaining is the top speed of 316 km/n GPS (328 speedo) which has not yet been removed. I suggest you speak with Dominik Leib to discuss the options.
I don't know what stages he will be offering to the market.

How long will it take to do this process? When I am in Germany on the euro delivery I may "stop" by to look at it.

It currently takes too long for you. About a week to prepare the Ecu's.
