Needed: Remote Coding - Euro MDM

I'm disgusted by the MDM Mode in my 2013 F10 M5. It's a US spec car I purchased recently.

I'm looking for somebody who can remotely code my car to change from US spec MDM to Euro MDM.

What is the difference?

Is the European version even less obtrusive?

I've been reading that Euro MDM is much less intrusive. It allows for more wheel spin and drifting.

my current MDM is constantly cutting power even when going in a straight line.

Yes the CP MDM actually works very well on track and the street , even in my heavily modded car .

The E diff does a LOT to straighten you out even with DSC off in the M5/6 . It's not even close to a death wish . DSC off in my VT 525 Z4M with a custom 30/60/90 track diff with 4.10 gears would be a death wish for a lot of people lol . People need to mod the driver more around here .

Understood, but after driving the c63 with sport traction on, I prefer a more progressive MDM over full DSC off. There must a less intrusive setting/coding to the current MDM on my US spec M5.

I don't think that is possible at this time.
I'll look with the ISTA and Autologic this week if there are any coding options available.

I like the fact that the drivers here drive to their capability. No need for a driver who doesnt have such a high limit to drive with DSC OFF and crash his car. I really respect the drivers who are smart enough to accept that they do not drive beyond their skills.
If you think you Z4 is a deathwish come drive the F3 cars that I was racing in last year and then you can see what they mean by snappy.

I was merely pointing out m cars are tame compared to many others , and if you can't handle DSC off in it you shouldn't complain about the MDM being too aggressive as you need it .

Because your brother has a smaller, lighter, less powerful car!
your car is bigger, heavier and more powerful so it has (and must have) less aggressive slip on MDM otherwise you lose the control. simple
I really don't see any reason to turn the DSC OFF in streets no matter what skill you have! It's called street and not track so respect yourself and other people who are living their life and do not turn the DSC OFF

shawnsheridan Do you have coding parameter for Euro MDM on the F10 M5? Wouldn't mind seeing the tail kick out a bit more out during cornering.

Unless you are a very proficient driver don't turn DSC OFF unless at the track. The torque response is non-linear compared to an NA car and it will just go nuts even with stock power levels.

The CP MDM mode is reasonably good - no drifting though!

From my understanding you need to make the following code changes in the DSC module...

From:
US:
C_Laenderkennung = US
C_Funktion_PostCrash_aktiv_1 = PCIB_aktiviert
C_GMR_Uebersteuer_0_c = F10M5US
C_GMR_Uebersteuer_1_2_c = F10M5US

To:
ECE:
C_Laenderkennung = initwert
C_Funktion_PostCrash_aktiv_1 = PCIB_deaktiviert
C_GMR_Uebersteuer_0_c = F10M5
C_GMR_Uebersteuer_1_2_c = F10M5

I've FDL coded these changes on mine, but haven't had time to test yet.
