M5 ALMOST here!!!!

Hey guys:
This is really getting annoying. The F10 M5 arrived at the dealership today but they cannot yet hand over the keys because the salesman there needs to fill out some forms with regards to Massachusetts state law. The suspense is killing me now!!!!! Don't you think the guy should've done the paperwork while the M5 was en route? He had like 2 months...

Garage List
It's a bummer but since MA issues plates immediately, they can't fill out the paperwork until the title is physically in the dealership. Sometimes the title arrives after the car as it is sent separately from the car from VPC. I feel your pain.

the only paperwork I believe that needs to be done is insurance-related?

You should have had the VIN to contact your insurance agent. Then your dealer should have faxed a paper over to confirm the VIN. It did take 2 hours dealing with finance and the RMV, but everything should have been completed.

Which dealer? There are a few of us on the boards that have had experience with MA dealers.

I hate to say it, but your guy screwed up. Everything that needs to be done could have been taken care of prior to delivery to the dealer. Chambers is a huge dealership. They know how to do this stuff. Hopefully you get your beast before the upcoming weekend. It's worth the wait . . .

Yeah. I've been on the phone this whole day trying to push the guy so I can at least get it by Friday!
