Just received a random gift from BMW with a letter that described this special pen, and being a signature gift. They even had a online video about the pen. Bmwusa.com/bmwpen. Anyone else receive?

i got the same a few months ago.. Do you have any idea what that metal "credit Card sized" thing is meant to be for? i havent got a clue, and neither does the dealer that sold me the car....

I think it is just a funky looking USB stick. Haven't tried it out, though.

I haven't received anything either - almost 2 yrs of ownership. Does it depend on where you are?

ie if you're in the States you get treated better than us guys up here in Canada. Im beginning to think so.

Nah! It seems very random to me who gets what..
I got the USB key - still no idea why someone wasted so much money on this spiel..
Last year I got a M5 print.. that was quite nice..

Well after 2 650i and 1 M6 in 3.5 years, living in California, all I have got is a painting paper of M6 and a Key fob USB memory stick.... No pen for me so far

So it's not about where you live or how much you have paid. It's a random gift...

Oh forgot to say I also received 3 BMW Ultimate Benefits Cards (one for each car) that jumped to the trash right away

Also the painting paper was E63 M6 ... I think they wanted to let me know how the old M6 looked like

Well I've owned m3 m6 m3 m5 and two x5 in between. All from the dealership officially and never got a present either.

I'm beginning to think BC dealerships take all our presents

When I had the X5M they sent me the carbon fiber pen. Looked nice, but wrote pretty shitty.
