I think you are right! The exhaust is deleted (modified) for better exhaust note I guess

Expected result. Within the speedlimit its going to be close call but on open road the M5 going to win. As said expected result. My personal choice is the M3.

I've haven't raced an M4 yet, but I have raced a 540hp 3,100lbs Lamborghini Superleggera before and destroyed it when my F10 M5 was still relatively stock.
Mines coming back soon, we can before I sell it for something else or my x6m comes... And that race was two cars and thats probably not even a CP M5 let alone an m6/m6cp... I'm sure if the platform allows turbos and tunes it'll beat stock m5's but if mods were apples to apples the m4/m3 would always be the redheaded stepchild.

Wow, you are getting a new X6M?! That's awesome! Can't wait to check it out!

Sure we can race before you sell it then. I'm going on vacation on next Monday, but I do have my winter tires on the M5 now, so I've been noticing that my car makes way too much torque for the winters. Everytime I mash the throttle on the highway, my DSC starts blinking like crazy. The compound used in the Pilot Alpin's is nothing like the Pilot Super Sports. So maybe we could arrange something in the Spring? But I'm game if you are free this weekend. I haven't played around with my M5 that much lately. Been too busy.

This is extremely incorrect. Weight very much affects straight line performance.

Weight is the primary reason the M3/4 with 140hp less can keep up with the M5 up to 90 or 100mph.

Between 80 and 120 mph straight line performance shifts from being predominantly affected by weight, to predominantly affected by aero. At high speeds it's a function of drag vs power/trq.

This is correct plus since M3/M4 have the lower axle ratio vs M5/M6 (3.46 vs 3.15) with the same DCT gear ratio and smaller wheels causes better torque (at wheel)/weight ratio which is basically the main factor of acceleration in lower speed.

That would screw up everything. Dig runs, top speed, sweet spot power delivery, etc. People already complain about traction issues (I don't see the issue BTW).
