Also Joe from Trinity Autosport told me the other day the intake made 30whp on the dyno. His is the first one with an actual tune then most of my customers that have BMS Piggyback so I can't wait to see the dyno graph.

As for those who have a M6 nightvision, I have a customer who wanted the intake even if he has to take it off, so he is testing fitment with my new velocity stack. Hopefully it's on the money. I really didn't want to send it out but he wanted even if he couldn't use nightvision.

I'll keep you guys in the loop on how fitment goes.

Thanks George! Undercover performance catless DPs arrived btw, might go Meisterschaft and im getting rid of the BMS piggyback for a full tune so hopefully within the next few weeks ill have some power figures!

Dealer problem with intakes?

What do you mean?

The intakes are code free for over a year now on both my M5 and M6 and several customers with them. My M5 is bone stock with jb4 4.0 boost and intake and my M6 fully modded, jb4 meth and intake with no issues or codes for over a year.

The piping clearly isn't stock, I'm just curious if they mentioned it to you, as I found out with my m4 when they had issues [due to their own incompetence the blame was quickly shifted to my JB4/an obvious customer mod]

Not at all, also if you were to have an issue they would have to prove the intake caused the issue. It's the same as adding a catless dp or exhaust. Now if you happened to mess up a MAF sensor from an install they could deny warranty on the MAF sensor. Or if you had some kind of code they would recommend you put your stock intake on to see if the code was intake related.

lol funny you mention MAF sensor... They left my JB4 on my m4 when they replaced the engine, and hooked the JB4 MAP sensor up to the MAF sensor which the tech tucked up under the engine then when I removed the JB4 in its entirety, they said I'd removed the MAF sensor lmfao... Only upon another day with the car discover that their tech hadn't hooked it up right and they had to make that walk of shame phone call saying that it wasn't in-fact my fault. They still put customer had aftermarket part on the final comment section. I almost made them go change that but didn't.

You're right! If you know your facts they can't do shit. And you being a dealer they know better. It all comes down to playing your cards right. Sometimes it's better to take precautions because when it's up to someone's job they will look out for themselves. And then tell you I dont know, I have no idea, bla bla bla. Anyway how's the intake been for you? Keep me in the loop

That's a good idea. I didn't think of that. I'm still waiting to see some tunes out and about on the street before I decide which way I'm going with that. The JB will suffice for now.

My car is currently being tuned as we speak and getting downpipes installed. The car put down some serious numbers with just the intake and the BMS piggyback! Will have full details and dyno sheets soon once i get the full ECU tune and DPs installed.

100+ hp gains, no speed limiter, no check engine light. Essentially the same tuning method as AMS and BR performance. I will post a full thread as soon as the car is done
