That is some thin rubber. I like

Wheel size/offsets? What are the tire sizes? I'm thinking of going 305/25/21 and 275/30/21

Just routine wearable items, spark plugs, ignition coils, fuel injectors and oil changes. These are pretty common wear items for for vehicles making over 1000whp.

That post was from December of last year, I hope it's much warmer down there now. I've admired your build and your posts, but have you done ANY racing of any sort with the vastly increased horsepower? What is the point of all your time and money spent if you don't demonstrate the improvements with some actual performance, not dyno runs?

I'll look forward to seeing the videos and the time slips! Proving the reliability of the drivetrain to those of us with much less HP will instill some confidence for a more aggressive build!

Simple, i do other things other than race.

My end goal is to have a reliable car since I daily it. Ive had a few issues as most people that are nearing 1000 are having as well so obviously im not going to race it until that is rectified.

I havent seen any 1/2 mile events near by yet so when they do pop up ill go.

And yes owning a 1000 whp (soon to be 1300 whp) M5 is definitely worth it. Race slips or not.

Of course, we all do.

And we all want a reliable car as well. I think I've read all your posts, but I might have forgotten if you've posted those issues that have affected that reliability. Informing us of those issues would be helpful to guide us in the right direction. If it isn't quite reliable enough to race at the moment, do you think going for 1300 whp is the way to rectify that reliability issue?

I'm sure owning and driving your car is worth it to you. Why else would you do it? You have the dyno slips to look at. There's nothing wrong with never racing it, you just say that you will and I'm looking forward to that. I believe your car is capable of setting new records, and then crushing them later! More power to you!

Fueling is the culprit. We are and have been at the ragged edge of what the stock fuel system can handle. Over boosting under WOT. We will get there eventually. Hopefully the new upgrades will rid me of any problems i am having now plus the added HP is a bonus.

Trust me when we are ready we will race it. Its only a matter of time. Not trying to drive 8 hours to do one pass and go into limp mode lol (Ocala, FL)

Besides your current fueling issues, how reliable has your motor been? My car bent a rod so I'm in the research and save $$$ mode right now. Any additional feedback you can give on the reliability of your BPC motor would be awesome.

Other than that the engine has performed phenomenally. Love having that peace of mind!

Thanks for these updates. Fueling is also an issue with just stage 2. Recently had my low pressure fuel pump give out.....left me stranded, but luckily near my house lol.

Any vendors offering a complete build package for our F10 M5's yet?

Similar to how vendors like Alpha for GT-R or Vengeance for Corvette's offer various packages from mild to fully built with supporting tranny updates.

Think only BPC does that with some other companies products like SSP Clutches etc.
