They're sold now and onto the next owner (I'm parting out my mods) but I wouldn't say they were more harsh than stock. My experience was that they tightened up the steering and gave me much more confidence at high speeds.

I had a similar issue on my M6 which ended up being the sway bar end link on the front passenger side. If you have a floor jack you can do a quick visual inspection at home. My son and I did the repair in our humble garage at home and replaced the other 3 while we were under the car.

45k miles.Thrust arms.

I don't have the new ones yet to compare but I think my ball joints are shot, I have read they are supposed to be stiff. I figured the bushings would be bad. Makes me wonder if I should change the other set of lower control arms as well.
