These symptoms are mainly caused by valve seals leaking and/or oil carry over from the crank case ventilation, also check PCV valves on either side on top of the engine.

actually, i am going now to replace old PCV valves to exclude them from my case,
NOW, if the smoke still there; can we have certain tested additives can be added to stop the Smoke? |

After replacing PCV's and smoke remains have a compression and leak down test done, these done should point you in the right direction.. I don't think any oil additives are a permanent solution.

Or even advisable. Do these cars require the engine to come out to change the valve seals? Sounds like valve seals since the smoke is not constant.

Unfortunately, PCV valves have been changed, Still, the Blue smoke is there !!!!
as per the Mechanic guy, he found some leaks inside turbo (left one) .. in the pipe connected to Air intake, could this be the reason behind the smoke? while i noticed the smoke came from 4 exhaust tips the same .. |

Definitely sounds like valve stem seals. Unfortunately engine removal is required (along with quite* a few special tools) since these engines have Valvetronic.

Unfortunately it's one of those things with these engines where strip down as you go is the only way, I'm guessing with the mileage it's more likely valve seals but you just have to go with what mechanic sees is most likely or just drive as it is if it's running fine otherwise and check the oil level more frequently.

Hi All
recently, my car has a new issue, Once you are driving on Auto mode, 120Km/h, then suddenly you press the fuel pedal (kick down), it comes like dead, no response, RPM needle became down (like the Car turned off), then starts acceleration on 5th gear ... do anybody face the same ? lazy response |

Yes, another technician was saying the tool required to remove valve seals won't fit in with the engine in situ.

I doubt its flywheel. As the car is burning oil I would suggest checking the throttle bodies as blow by could be making oil get in them and causing throttle to behave erratically.
Naturally the underlying cause of blue smoke would have to be rectified to prevent it happening in the first place. |
