Production Stop on all Frozen Colors for 2014 model year!?

I have been trying to order a new 2014 Frozen White M5 from my local dealer in TN and they have just let me know that the inside BMW reps in Germany say there is a production stop on all Frozen colors for the 2014 model year. They are telling me that so many customers are unable to understand how to maintain their Frozen color cars that BMW has decided to stop any further production of the Frozen colors.

Anyone else heard this information???

I don't think so. My Frozen BMW is going into production next week. Who is your dealer?

I would recommend my dealer - Adrian Avila of BMW of South Atlanta. He is one of the top M salesmen in the country and he will definitely be able to order you a frozen BMW.

Also, while unlikely, I hope what you say is true - my new 2014 will then become flippable at a profit!

I heard back from my dealer and he finally found the correct form to submit for the Frozen colors. He says that it is now part of the announcement that BMW just made about Frozen colors being available through BMW Individual. Just got my production number for a Frozen Brilliant White M5.

What did they charge you for Frozen white? $3500 or $5000?

Now we established the truth, maybe you should change the title of this thread to avoid planting false info in the heads of people who don't read all the posts.

No. As I have posted before - I believe the CP is a cynically overpriced marketing scam, and not a credible performance upgrade. I'm waiting for CP version 2 which hopefully will be the real deal.
