US M5 standard options ??

Anyone know if the upcoming US base M5 will include comfort access and basic rear parking camera as standard ?

I'm leaning at just doing the individual options

Head up display
20 inch rims ( not sure about it - leaning toward 19) 19 may be unique since everyone seems to want 20s
BMW apps

Keeping it simple and in budget for me.

HUD is a must for me too. Tried the F30 one out during test drive and liked it a lot.

Same boat as you guys, car comes loaded, so not bothering with any packages that only add weight (and issues down the line, as this car will be a keeper for me).

HUD
Full leather

HUD is a MUST.

If you are going black for interior, I dont recommend getting the full leather as its barely noticeable(waste of $3,500)

I agree on the black interior it is not as noticeable as on the white/orange/individual colored leathers, but it still makes a huge difference IMO. I had a full leather E39 M5 with black interior, and the non-full leather cars just looked cheap to me, too much plastic on all that big dashboard, top and side of the doors, glove compartment, extended leather console. If one is planning to spend significant time in the cabin, to me full leather makes a real difference. Spending 3% extra on a car and have it feel special and complete justifies it in my case, but everyone is different.

Go full leather. Don't run 25 miles and then quit the marathon.

These cars are $90k base, if you're buying that kind of car you can go a bit further and do it right.

You're buying the best, make it the best!

Just my opinion.

rims

looks like active seats and soft close doors will be part of the executive package. i like active seats but every passenger in my m5 did not seem to like them. I can life without them. Soft close doors are a great enhancement. if may not get executive package ifi i can get full leather and hud without ordering it.

Im going full leather. Even if its black its still a huge bonus. My 07 m5 was extended and i did not like the rubber dash or doors or center console. People love my red leather m6 full leather and notice the dash. It makes the car look that much more spectacular and i recommend doing without other options if you are on a rigid budget.

Im stuck on rims...I live in new york and only drive weekends .19s on my m6 are ok and dont drive aggressive in new york...maybe thats because i have smg exhaustion. friends of mine with msport 550i and 750is are destroying their 19s left and right. Im wondering what will happen with 20s. My buddy who owns a performance shop told me " dont sacrifice looks for performance". I dont think think the 19s look bad...its just the 20s look that much better

Does anyone know if you can get full leather with the individual leather options? Looks like these are only 'extended' options. Not full. I am basing this on the BMW Individual Catalog I found somewhere.

rims and options

i agree with the 19 rims. the 20's are the same with the x6 and x5 m's as well as the old and new m6's. i'm just gonna order the 2 packages and thats it.

i disagree that the 20's look that much better. i think the 19 looks sporty and classy at the same time. i saw those 20's in person at the auto show and they look juvenile for a 100 grand car.

I've never seen Individual interior in full either. Went through the M5 interior photos thread here and no pics of it too.
