I'm now addicted to dynos! I went to HG Motorsports here in San Diego. They use a Dyno Dynamics, which always read notoriously low. Here's my 4th (green) and 5th (red) gear pulls overlaid:

Extrapolated back to what they believe the Dynojet numbers would be (i.e. they subscribe to the notion a Dyno Dynamics reads 17% lower than a Dynojet):

The pink curve in this graph is from a non-Competition Package all-stock M6 that the shop dyno'd about one month ago. I'm making a lot more torque in the 3500-5000rpm range. However, he's got a bit more top-end (6000-7000rpm) power than me! Maybe my pulls were suffering from a bit of heat-soak? (i.e. notice how BOTH my 4th and 5th gear pulls have a torque dip starting at 3000rpm, but which recovers by 4500rpm). Anyways, I'm going to fill up the tank with some VP Race 100 octane and do some re-dyno'ing at some point ...

One more try. Do you know if this module also include cars that have a post 7/2014 build with electronic wastegate as opposed to mechanical? Thx

No. The tune does not have a version for the electronic wastegate cars as of yet as we have not seen one in the shop. We have brought in a few cars that were after the 7/2014 build date (in some cases out to 9/2014) and every vehicle thus far we have seen has still been a mechanical wastegate. The ETK date that BMW gave for the M5 on the switchover seems to be a "rough guesstimate". We are continually trying to get an EWG vehicle in shop to develop the tune for it but thus far we have had no luck. If anyone knows an M5 or M6 with a EWG in the bay area that wants to be a guinea pig they will get a free tune out of it... and be very happy with a grin on their face as they drive away.

Thanks for responding. If I lived anywhere close I would do so. I'll keep looking at your site to see since I'd prefer this over BMS. My build isn't until Jan '15, so I assume I'll have the EWG by then. Anyway for a non-mechanic to tell?

Relatively easy.

Once you remove the engine cover and are looking at the turbos themselves its pretty obvious which wastegates you have. The mechanical wastegate literally looks like there is a drum attached to it whereas the electronic wastegates have a electronic plug-in in that place in lieu of the aforementioned drum. That's a pretty poor description but with the images below you will understand my meaning quite clearly.

That's not a fan, it's an evaporative cooler. In dry air they work very well (your dyno show's 32% humidity).
