I thought there r a few clips in the YouTube about pp performance m6 that show their 1/4 mile time n etc.... none of it is even close to M6brest 11.07 timing.

Actually PPP cannot remove the 305 kmh limiter. I had to downgrade to the 250 kmh default limiter first, and then they removed it. So I am pretty sure they could do the same for American owners. So who is first?

I am trying to share a top speed video here, that's all. If people don't like it, it is really easy for me not to share any info. I also wanted to explain that my car IMHO has around 800 crank bhp so you can put this top speed run in perspective. Otherwise people would ask me afterwards. I don't care about hits guys. I am well beyond that age. I could easily remove my channel if you want, no problem. Just ask me.

From the beginning I said I didn't want to start a bhp/dyno discussion because threads always change when I do. I have given some proof, and leave the rest up to the members. Hope this is ok now.

I know what I am doing and I checked as much about the car, weights, tires, downforce, nitrogen etc. as I do want to survive such a high speed. Nobody here pushes me to do this.

As Dyno numbers Im not trying to figure out what crank hp is I just would like to compare what mine is putting down to yours. That is all for I don't truly know what the drivetrain loss on a Dyno jet would be. If I saw a Dyno jet run from your car and compare it to mine then it kind of gives light to where my crank hp should be nothing more nothing less. I've never intended on accusing you or disbelief but more of a comfort zone of how comparable power gains are between the two.
I've been on forums for years and I know no matter what you post in proof you ill always have the ones who are never satisfied with what you have to say or prove.
I can say I'm not the type to bash or expect more and more I just take it and learn from it. In the end we are like family here and love these cars. So good luck can't wait to see some high speeds!

Thank you.

Anything outside that does not seem to interest him as I think he's trolling for clicks on his page.
I cannot deny I like top speed more than quarter miles, which is what most of my friendly Americans here enjoy more. Good, we are all different which makes this such a great site. You have a serious speed limit issue on your highways so you care more about acceleration. I doubt there is a track that allows speeds of over 200 mph. I live close to the Autobahn and I have the chance to go very very fast. However, if traffic doesn't permit me to go that fast I won't do it. It has to be under the best conditions. As I said above I really don't care about hits. I am not actively promoting my clips, don't care, but I need to upload videos somewhere.

I like top end and I have places in Texas where I can try it. I don't think they are as good as the autobahn but they are certainly easier traffic wise. Obviously I am not very good yet at generating quarter mile times, maybe I will do better with practice and a couple of sets of tires. I would like to get rid of the first limiter but I don't want to buy more than that. Do they remove it in the US market?

Yesterday traffic permitted a max of 325 kmh. Today it rains. I hope it will clear up,.if it doesn't then I will need to go back to Germany any time soon.

Why don't you throw it in a Dyno an see max speed limiter I know it's not the same as on the street. I guess that's not what the whole point of running it was but I figured I'd ask.
Take care and thanks for trying good luck on the next go around!

It is not safe to go beyond 200 mph on a dyno I was told. And of course the conditions would be much more favorable if one could.

Last night I made another attempt to do a top speed run, but the car went into limp mode at 300 km/h. The ecu stored that fuel pressure was too low. It seems with the removal of the torque limiter in the gear box, which released another 150 Nm, at sustained long WOT acceleration runs, the fuel pump in the tank cannot keep up. I am now having a Dutch company build me an uprated pump with a much higher liter per hour capacity and then I will try again.

Nothing in the car is broken or wrong, it just needs more fuel.
To be continued............

Will the new pump fit into the tank and replace the stock fuel pump? If not, how are you routing the fuel line to accommodate the added pump? Are you sure it's the pump in the tank and not the high pressure pump near the fuel rail? Thanks for pushing the limits, interesting to watch your progress.

It needs some modifications but it will replace the oem one. I ran the car with a Bosch Motorsport fuel pump and instantly I had more power, but the pump could not be controlled as we wanted (two instead of four wires). We are now going to Walbro and this will work I am sure.

Sound good, u mean after changing a fuel pump instantly u can feel more power? How is it possible? Please share more once u got it solved.

I am not an engineer, but my theory is that the DME's adjust the power when fuel pressure is a bit low, but when there is plenty fuel it can release more power.
