toyo r888r vs mickey thompson

i am moving to Arizona Phoenix area.
will be getting stage 1 tune by ess tuning locally.
I asked question about tires but one final question.. out these 2 tires which one is best for stop light races, drag racing?
how are they as a DD?
tread life and road noise?

I think for DD the R888 will be a better ride and are sticky, however, the road nose is aweful and if you plan to dig race often it won't last you more than 2-3k.

I am sure you are aware that dig racing a tuned M5 with R888 or Thompson will put some heavy wear and tear on your clutches and axels. Very possible to snap an Axel and also start having slipping clutches very quickly.

I like nitto nt05r drag radicals for the street. Handle good, stick good, wear good for a DR. Had a set of r888 And could not stand the howling noise. Felt real junky.
