Need Help with 2014 M5 Lease
Hey Guys
I need help with a lease on a 2014 BMW M5. The MSRP is $113,425. Im looking to do a one pay lease. I was able to get $6500 Off MSRP. Here is my one pay figures. 24Months 10K miles/Year---$54,116.47 What is a good deal for this car? Any guidance would be much appreciated |

I'm not as familiar with doing single payment leases. However, using a leasing calculator with a sales tax of 6%, residual of 59% (July 2014 rate for 24 months @ 10,000 miles/yr), and a base money factor rate of 0.00127 (lowest possible without multiple security deposits) your total payment comes to $48,021.26. All that remains, to my knowledge, would be the various signing fees (destination, documentation, acquisition, MACO, DMV, etc.). So, I'd venture to say your quote is high. Also, you can probably do a little better than $6500 off MSRP.

10-11k off msrp would be a great deal and is I. Like with myself and a few other members are getting. Some dealers won't deal. I kept at it until I found one that would.

I'm not sure if there are any differences in a one-pay vs normal lease structure, in terms of MF. However, the current base MF rate for all BMWs is 0.00127. It has been this way for some time, but can change any month. Once you place an order, however, you can lock this rate. The only way to get a lower rate is to use multiple security deposits (MSDs). Essentially, for each extra security deposit you pay up front, the MF is decreased by 0.0007, up to a maximum of 7 times (0.00049 reduction). This will drop the MF to a nadir of 0.00078. That extra you're paying for the MSDs doesn't apply to the lease cost itself, but will lower the MF, therefore the total cost. At the end of the lease, you get 100% of the extra security deposit money back (unless applied to a new lease). Keep in mind, your dealer may not immediately offer/agree to the base rate (some do, some don't).

The problem is with shipping cost involved price will not make much difference. Especially on a lease. I just got with another dealer that offered me $47K 2Yr/10,000 miles a year lease. Should i go for it? They offered the same $6500 off. Im not sure why their is such a difference in price between dealers. Second dealer probably played around with the residual and money factor.
