I have never used anything but momentum 99 and my MPG is still terrible lol.
On a serious note though when driven sensibly on the motorway the M5 is pretty respectable. I stuck to 80mph over a 300mile trip and managed 28.7 that's computer shown so how accurate that is nobody knows! Still had between 1/4 and 1/2 a tank of fuel left at the end of my 300miles.
Oh and I did have 2 or 3 heavy acceleration spurts within that total.

F10 in general is lot more fuel efficient previous generation cars. 28.7 @ 80 is comparable to, if not a little better than, an E46 330i manual (the autos were obviously worse). Can't knock BMW for the direction they've taken with efficient dynamics.

I still haven't managed to get rid of the 1/2 tank of dealer supplied 95 ron fuel. I'm going to sick with Shell V-power after that, if not for the economy, for the perceived smoother running characteristics.
