I turn mine off sometimes when I doing qualy runs. I turned DSC off on Friday for the Boss 302 that wanted to test the M5. Really didn't work out for him.

Guys in all fairness, I got to hear the new M3/M4 up close and personal. The one I heard with catless downpipes actually sounded pretty good. It's just that the valves on the exhaust need to be open. With them close the exhaust still sounds bone stock, but with them open, I was actually pretty impressed.
