The dark side beckons! Hope you get the car fixed as you seem to love it a looooot! Good luck.

I hope you've tried the various methods to mitigate the squeal before you attempt to head down this route.

Good luck with whatever decision you choose to pursue however.

Not a squealing it is like opening a very old wrought iron door everytime you turn left!

It Is hilarious how many times I have to tell people it is not squealing or but rather squeaking like a very old wrought iron door opening ever time I turn left but M6--coupe solved my problem and advised me to always turn right -

A proper M5 (just kidding)

Hope you get it sorted - I had some noise from the suspension on mine (from new) - all sorted now, unfortunately I can't remember if it just bedded in or was fixed as part of the 'non-specific adjustments' made during break-in service.

http://f10.m5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=898124

I also have some break squeal at low speeds (I can imagine @Stealth.Pilot laughing at me now as he warned me not to tempt fate in a previous post - doh!)

Yep. Sadly an inevitable consequence of high performance brakes. No car manufacturer is exempt.

Agreed; part of the 'character' - although it's funny how many people turn around to see who it is (possibly thinking an 'MOT is overdue' ).

I have to say that my brake squeal is minor - it was unbearable & embarrassing in a pre-LCI demo I borrowed - like finger nails screeching on a black board, for those of us who are effected by that.

Not the brakes
It is the squeaking while making left turns!

Squeal doesn't bother me but speaking on turn without touching brakes on left turns is not something I can accept as part of my driving routine -

Guys, I don't think Sooma problem is squeaking brakes. He has a noise when he makes a left turn. Unless I'm missing something.

Ironically BMW solution for it at the moment is changing braking pad for all 4 so it seems you're not the only ones not reading the OP - LOL

Sorry, that was my fault, bit of a thread jack to have an 'embedded' conversation with Stealth about brake squeal.
