Noise when breaking

So I have started to notice a chirping sound from the glove box/ passenger footwell area on moderate brakeing from 40ish down....not really loud but noticeable. However it's not consistent as in on every stop but every drive it's doing it. Car has 32k miles brakes just fine no other issues and it's definitely inside the car and from same area each time......
Anyone else come across this? I'll get it checked next service but thought I'd ask.
Thanks

I would make noise too if I was breaking....

On a less humorous note, I don't recall seeing anyone report something similar. What does the dealer say?

The panel below the dash holds the in-cabin air filter. it is possible the panel or the other items behind the panel are loose. Have you had the cabin air filter changed? it is possible something wasn't put back right.

Cabin filter changed a while back.....definitely directly proportional to break input....

Since it is tied to braking it would definitely be a good idea to have the dealer check it.
I can't think of anything on the passenger side that would be physically connected. It is possible the sound direction is misleading. I know you say it is directly proportional to brake input, but can you replicate at a stand still at all?

Discovered the problem with the help of service advisor. It's the bearing in the rear blower motor going out. When I brake it puts a load on the bearings and thus a squeak when braking. Turning off the rear fan silences the noise when braking. They had previously spent a long time chasing the same fault in a 7 series, so luckily he was involved otherwise it would have been one long diagnosis visit.
Connecting braking noise with a rear ac fan.....now that would be a stretch but just goes to show issues with cars aren't always what they seem.

Just get your dealer to repair whatever is broken.
