My mistake, after quick research into JB4, it seems to be able to support on the fly map changes. JB4 has ability to have it's maps switched using steering wheel buttons, but all you are changing is mostly the "power gain" maps. You cant use that method to change actual timing maps.
We do not work with and never touch JB4 as all the tuning we do is done using factory hardware and have no need for JB4 in any way.

As for jb4 there is no "custom" tuning about it, and is not imo a real tuning solution for these heavier modded cars or any bmw really, however he mass produced them and it's cheap to buy so therefore caters to the masses and "does the trick" for those who don't know too much about real tuning, as for guys wanting fully customized tables and all tuning parameters there is very few in the world currently offering the damos files/software to adjust everything thru the stock dme due to the very high initial cost to the tuner to acquire such capabilities, Kevin here locally at Precision tuning has such software and for those local to the tri-state he is very knowledgeable plus a stand up guy and backs his product 100% for those interested in this kind of tuning solution for their m3/4/5/6 and all other newer bmw's
That is good, I'm sure you can post your results on an appropriate thread.

We do not work with "Precision" so we can not comment on their reflashes, but this is the second time someone posts a comment regarding damos. First of all, no one I is "offering" damos. Damos is used to learn the functions of the factory ECU. We also have s63 damos, along with every other damos for the Fox chassis. On top of that, we have 9000+ page functionsheet for all of these ECUs. Familiar with what that is?
It is great you like precision, nothing wrong with them, though they do not offer more advanced aspects of calibration like we do. For example, precision or any other tuning company, was never able to properly calibrate the sport display for any of the reflashes and we have been doing that for over a year. Check out threads dedicated to that.
Also we offer tuning services to Socal on daily basis, but also offer a fly-in group buy opportunity for remote customers. We don't see precision offering such services.

If you would like to praise your favorite tuner, please do so on a dedicated thread and don't hijack an existent one.

Precisión couldn't call or return texts because they were too busy, and I gave them over a week. I asked about "custom intakes" and got the run-around, they couldnt even provide a price quote or time to complete. IMO they're not a serious shop, at least not for people outside of NJ.

Now their No. 1 promoter on these boards is saying that they didn't provide a quote because they only do complete builds (tune, exhaust, intake, etc.) Would have been nice to know when I first asked about the intakes.

Will your stage two tune pass emissions testing? I live in NC. Also I noticed your mention on F30 board looking for a 328 to tune. I recently bought my wife an estoril Blue Msport wagon. You can see the build here:

Yes, our stage 2 reflash has all monitors enabled so you should not have an issue with smog. Your F31 looks nice, we also have a 328D F31 with RWD conversion as one of the company cars. The offer for testing was made for local customers only, but if you ever get interested in getting your car tuned, let us know.

I meant MP. I don't see it listed in the first post and I don't see any F10 owners listed in the folks who have signed up. What are the gains?

Yes, we offer tunes for s63 guys as well. The safe gains are 73whp/100ftlb for stage 1. If you have any questions regarding our product, just PM us.

So there would be no CEL?

Correct, if you are running catless down pipes, we can remove the CEL for that error code.

So what are the numbers for stage 2, F10 M5? Do you have dyno graphs of when the power/torque increase hits? I'm a big fan of mid range results as thats where I am the most; I actually rarely hit redline.

I'm glad to see that you are somewhat local to me as this is something I may explore.

No approximate date yet but we are getting close. Anyone interested in a tune is always welcome to send in the ECUs instead of waiting for the group buy.

Not sure why anyone in the NY/NJ area wouldn't go through Autocouture and DMETuning - home to the fastest east-coast M5's, and the support is always there in case you want to upgrade or something breaks.

Probably same reason why DMETuning's customer made DMEtuning send us the M5 computer after they bricked them and blamed customer for "improperly removing the computers".

We also offer support in all situations. If a customer want an upgrade, we can do it remotely.

Are Autocouture, DMETuning, and Precisión three separate companies?
