Bump
Its been 2 months how the tune working. Im sure you are happy with evolve tune

In My Opinion they have crack the e60M5 and E39 platform already.
My boy just placed his order on headers n intakes for his e60.
I know one guy just installed headers n intakes on his M6 this week also. Seems like they got that down pat

Sorry for lack of update. Didn't end up getting an Evolve Tune... I had it all scheduled with a local supplier that has a relationship with Evolve.

I was told originally that Imran would be able to bench flash my car remotely, and not until after I left my car there overnight was I told that approach was no longer available. They would have to send evolve the DME units...

This caused me to change course of action and go the JB4+BCM route instead... BIG MISTAKE on my part.

regarding the JB4+BCM? I have had a lot of trouble getting it installed properly and for the cash I have spent on labor I would of been better off to send out my ECU's and get a good full flash is all.

I have found it hard to see anything good or bad about Evolve Stage 1+/2 flashs for the M5.

Do you think getting Precision to do the tuning vs Evolve would be that much better?
I've heard nothing but great things about EVOLVE but the power gains listed aren't any where near what the other guys are producing. I believe EVOLVE Stage 2 requires you to have downpipes which is an added costs and the power levels are low compared to what I have seen come out of the others. Example... on a stock car, they are getting 650+ WHP out of a tune on 23PSI. This is amazing numbers! For myself, I want to go with a quality tune that yields the most power.
They don't have the highest numbers because they use a realistic dyno ! Lol

This just sucks because I have JB4+BCM sitting on my desk. Just waiting for a buddy to help me out with the install. I read as many bad reviews as good, so I don't know what to expect when I get it installed.

With the JB4+BCM, you'll find they are install problems which is a same as its fairly easy, the people doing the install just don't take proper care and end up with wrongly connected connectors, pin outs or boost leaks. Its a 2 hour job and 3 connectors (OBD plus 2 TMAP connectors)... how hard can than be... really! I did the install along with water/meth injection all in an easy day, no special tools, it really is that easy.

I guess if you follow the detailed step by step instructions and pay attention to the pictures, it can be easy. If you run into problems, a quick call to customer service can answer any questions. Eliminates all the "guess work" out of it.

I haven't tried mine yet, but will report back.
