Really liked how one customer wrapped the cooling lines on the DMEs before shipping, very smart idea: Four of the DME's after drilling: Last DME of the day being programmed: Let us know how they are after you get these bad boys back in!!

Can you limit boost in 1st or 2nd to aid in traction?
Also at what whp and wtq are there issues with clutch slippage? I'm thinking of getting a 2016 m5. Is the ecu tune all you really need? I prefer minimal mods. Tcu tune recommended? |

TCU tune.... no, you will likely get shift problems and cause other issue- gear box is plenty fast enough already and is leaps ahead of SMG's of old or any auto-slush box.
Engine is sold and can take 1000WHP/1000WTq+ (see allmotors posts on here and other boards) but like any machine they can fail, luckily its rare. Just get a good flash tune like Mikes @ bpm Sport and or a JB4+BCM from Burger Motorsport (JB4 can limit boost in gear). Just do your research and ask questions. If you want limited mods, stick to a flash and/or JB4 and stay away from airfilters, downpipes and exhausts they only give limited gains - just look what allmotor uses on his record making M5 (hes in the 9's at the track!) |

Yes, should be able to limit clutch torque by gear, although I haven't spent a lot of time doing that. As far as the limit of clutch slippage - every car is different. I've seen some slip at 600, and some hold to 700. It depends on the age, use, variances, etc.. Transmission tune is not needed. Here are a couple videos for you guys of a Stage II M5 we recently tuned in Florida: Stage II M5 w/ DP and BPM Tune vs Cadillac (Either CTS-V or ATS-V not sure): Stage II BPM Tuned M5 vs M5 w/ bolt-ons and JB4: BPM Car is camera car. He has upgraded turbos and a mild tune. Enjoy!

What does it feel like? I have no DCT malfunction messages, so I don't think so.

But yea I was surprised at the torque numbers considering I worked with Mike to make sure everything wasn't being maxed out, and they weren't. I was very happy. It was a big event so a lot of people were kinda blown away by the numbers it put down. There were some ZL1s, Z06 and terminators there too. And they guys were like oh shit.. Picture taken before being strapped up. Thanks boots sbassi

No slippage? I am surprised since my clutches is slipping now. If you floor it in 4th around 60mph, the rpm goes up and comes back down then the car pulls a little. There shouldn't be any code at this stage.
