I have an F80 M3 and the RS5. The low end torque on the RS5 is lacking but 5-8.5k RPM the car is magical. Great sound too. The M3 is a different car with a lot of low end torque and lots of speed. Can't stand the sound though stock compare to my RS5 with an AWE exhaust.

I have driven a F10 M5 considerably. The RS5 may feel slow to you when driving back to back bc the M5 has so much power and torque.

But honestly. In never really going that fast in real life and I love the interior of the RS5. Also, people say it looks bland but when modified this car gets a lot of attention.

Beautiful car
My problems with it
1. Have 2 kids and a baby
2. It has no sun roof that can be opened
3. It doesn't have the wide instrument cluster screen you see in S6 or S7
4. No Turbos so as you had explained no intoxicating addictive Low End Torque

But hank you so much sir for the nice write up about the RS5
I believe you should elaborate more about it and make it a separate thread compared to M3/M5 because people are cross shopping these cars so often !!
