Rough Idle

I turned the car on last night after dinner, and the idle was very rough, varying from about 500 rpm to 900 rpm. The car was already at operating temperatures and it disappeared after around 5 minutes. I am worried if there is something wrong. All the other threads mention some kind of O2 failure. What do you think it is? No warning lights or anything as off now. Can I still drive it?

Garage List
Drive it. If there's no check engine light, you are OK. The codes should still be in memory even though the car isn't acting up any more so next time you get a chance have your mechanic/dealer scan them and give you an idea of what happened. I heard of issues with drive train failure lights in the dash when fuel was low.

Just drive the car and don't worry.

Drive it.

If anything actually bad happens I am sure the car will through a code.

Recent oil change? If my car sits for a weekend, I'll feel a rough idle for a few seconds, certainly not minutes and def. not when at temp. What kind of oil do you use???
