ECU Tuning group has a flash apparently? (670WHP w/ just flash)

http://www.6speedonline.com/forums/b...tune-only.html

Quote:
No meth heads, meth kits or meth pipes. BMW F10 M5 made 670.8whp (771.42hp) measured on a good dyno with tune only.

This M5 was tuned with our new direct ECU flash. We can now program the exhaust blip and the traction system, so it's not too sensitive which relates to more traction. This is also available for all 2014 cars with the new encryption. Speed limiter is removed and the transmission is also programmed.
Quote:
On the M5/M6 as well as installing a module, we can program the ECU around the module. The benefit of this would be even more power, adjustments of A/F, raised RPM if desired, removal of speed limiter, TCU upgrade, traction and programming the exhaust ‘blip’. We can also load factory competition software into ‘any’ M5 or M6.

Yep. I know people who have had issues with these tuners. I personally don't trust them unfortunately. :

Care to elaborate on the issues? Seems like they're one of the only ones that can do speed limiter removal, which seems to require cracking the ecu.

No way the car can make 770 hp with full bolt ons and meth , much less with just an ECU tune . Total bullshit . No one has a real tune for our cars yet and remember it's very easy to manipulate dyno results . All these people claim to have 700+ hp and yet not one run on a drag strip at > 130mph trap speed . Lots of fake /manipulated dyno numbers on this forum , it's gotten really sad .

I find it suspect when they don't show the before and after dyno. I have a feeling a stock M5 would dyno 600+whp on this dyno.

I had the tune completed by Alex. I haven't had a chance yet to verify if the top speed limiter has in fact been removed, as was promised. I also don't have a CEL yet from the Gintani catless dps, which I was told that I wouldn't get if I got the tune. Im fully prepared to get a CEL, however.

Well, I'll just have fun until it blows up. It's only money, right? I'll likely lose way more money when we get the next stock market crash.

Well, you can have a little less fun without blowing up the car since this car have a lot power and torque...
And what about if it happens while you are driving at over 100 mph (more or less) in freeway??
You know with ignition off you have no brake right?
what about if DCT breaks down at that speed since it's not designed for that much power/torque???
There are so many things related to this issue...

I can always pull the E-brake........oh wait......that's electronic as well. I'll install a manual quick release parachute.
