OEM Sunshade (same as covercraft brand)
It has been HAWT AF with this heatwave so I picked up the OEM sunshade today. I really didn't like the BMW printed on it so I had to change it up a bit.
I guess its the same as a covercraft so I could have just ordered the covercraft brand and it would have been plain with no BMW printed on it. But...I'm happy with how mine looks after some vinyl stickers Here's the stock pic versus mine |

pretty simple. i just had some of this vinyl below from ebay that was left over so I used it. I just matched the angle of the "W" and I cut strips of each color.
Spray the surface with windex when you stick it on so you can move it around to line it up. Wipe away excess windex and it will stick when it dries up. Took me about 10 minutes to do. I actually might redo it coz the red stripe on the right - the bottom you can notice that I did not cut it straight LOL. Link to vinyl stickers and a better pic of visor. http://www.ebay.com/itm/221878774193...&sojTags=bu=bu Last edited by tec333; 06-22-2016 at 01:15 AM.. |
