Saw that last night. Crazy. You guys see Chevy's answer? The Camaro Exorcist. Built by Hennessey.

I am mildly impressed. No test and tune for that car without a cage, and it almost needs a chute and a host of other items to run at the track.

Just mildly impressed? I don't want the car nor do I like it much, but the numbers are impressive for a factory vehicle. I wish BMW would do something similar. Not to the extreme of no seats and a 2 speaker stereo, but a track ready M car would be sweet.

If I moved to the USA ..... I'd most likely get this as my US built car and have 4 other non US cars.

It's pretty darn impressive to get this level of performance with a factory warranty. It also shows that you can reliably build a 800-900hp car and expect it to last (with the right components) - well let's hope it lasts...?!

Has all the tricks... including that Killer Chiller equivalent system using the AC refrigerant to cool the IC's.

Lol. I'm not "excited" about it in anyway at all. I still think it's very impressive what they've done. Fastest factory car in the world in 0-60 and 1/4 mile, or close to it. Never said I wanted one though. I do respect it, and again, I'm impressed. Give up my 4 year old M6 for it? Nit a chance in hell!!

Lol. I was being sarcastic. Of course it is amazing. Tough crowd.

I put 20k miles on a GT800 turbo kit setup and shep stage 2 trans which was like 710whp on my GTR, and another 25k on my ETS turbo kit with shep stage 4....

If they do the parts right, like a GTR 700whp-1200whp should be easily capable of lasting. Insane abuse aside.

Strong axles like the DSS NL69s and strong gears/ trans setups should easily last. Although clutches for me at 1400hp were a yearly budgeting expenditure. But 840 crank hp should easily be made safe.

The good thing is much like the GTR's performance that pushed the industry to give more to the consumer I believe this will do the same, stronger parts, more performance per dollar. Can't go wrong with that.

All of these goodies but no factory cage? Come on Dodge. It isn't that this car is so fast the NHRA outlawed it, it's because they didn't include critical safety equipment.
