Hi guys, looking for some options for extended aftermarket warranty options.

I got motorist assistance plan (MAP) from my BMW Service Manager. Make sure you purchase before your BMW one ends.

It is something you should be looking at now. The lower your mileage the better the rate. I wish I got mine before 35k Mark. It goes up quickly. And as mentioned you must purchase before your factory warranty expires. I’ve been happy with fidelity through Troy.

How "tune friendly" are aftermarket warranties? Let me guess... not very.

I've read multiple stories of the motors just blowing up (mine being one of them :P)

What are some other common problems? I want to pick up a used M5 out of warranty and throw some turbos on it... but I'm worried about sinking $65k into car + warranty + parts without knowing the longevity of these cars... Any input?
