CID "No Signal" and random restart

I've got a 2015 F10 M5 and the headunit seems to randomly restart. Sometimes it's blank and sometimes it says NO SIGNAL. Most of the time the music is still playing for a minute and then it'll restart. I've done some searching and it doesn't seem like anyone has found a solution since 2013?

I've read some people have replaced their headunit 2-3 times and the problem still occurs. Some say it's programming but others say they've had it programmed and it still happens.

I haven't seen any new threads since 2017, so I was wondering if anyone found a solution?

Same issue with my ‘13. It happened twice about two years ago. Addressed it with the dealer. They couldn’t find anything wrong with it. Hasn’t happened since though. But both times were in July and 95+ degree temps.

I have a '14 and it happened to me twice in the last 6 months. Mine would act up when using Bluetooth. Hasn't done it since updating the software but it's only been a few weeks.

I've heard of people having issues while connected to bluetooth. I didn't connect my phone at all yesterday and it happened on the way to work. Drove to work this morning with the phone connected.. Even took a detour to the dry cleaners with no issues. I'm not sure how to replicate it. It was about 34F this morning. I don't remember having this issue in the summer and fall when I first got it.
