The cap cost seems pretty good. About 4K under net dealer invoice.
Since you are in Texas isn't the sales tax due up front? What is your tax rate?

Yes, all of the tax is due up front and rolled into the payment. The tax rate is 6.25% and the payment shown includes the taxes.

Looks pretty good. I ordered from the same dealer recently (assuming your using David) that was $115,500 and paid $104,000 @ $1185/mth w/Tx Tax included.

You might consider putting down MSDs and it would probably get your payment down to $1275ish.

I think it's going to be hard to beat that by much if at all.

Edit: I called Classic BMW to see if they wanted to compete with the deal and they basically laughed and told me that kind of discount wasn't possible on the M5.

Are you capping the registration and acquisition fee also? Any doc fees?

Everything is included except for the registration fee and inspection fee (I have to register the car in Dallas after it is delivered) came out to $1,386. Steve Thomas has been awesome to work with thus far. They gave me a great deal.

I also negotiated with Classic BMW, Dallas BMW, Arlington BMW and two other dealerships in the Houston area. Two of them would not offer more than $3K off MSRP and terrible MF's. The others did little better but still never got close the deal I got. They all said that no one could give me the numbers I was being quoted. Of course now that I've done the deal they are all coming back saying they could have done better. No kidding!

I am only putting down $1,466. I did not want to put down an security deposits since my company is leasing the car for me.

I really appreciate everyones input. The paperwork is supposed to arrive today and the car should be shipping from CA early next week. I'll make sure to post some pics.

Thx!!!

And in case you are wondering, Steve Thomas BMW collects the $7K in taxes when the deal is completed and then they send me a check made out to my county tax accessor office that I can take with me when I register the car here in Dallas.

Yes. They are doing the same for me as well, although I am taking delivery at the Performance Center. Were you working with David or somebody else?

Yes, David. Everyone at STBMW has been great to work with so far. Paperwork is signed and on its way back to CA tonight. Hoping to have car funded by BMW Saturday so car can be on a dedicated, covered carrier by Monday or Tuesday.

Could I expect about the same number on this car?

It really depends on how much this dealership wants to move the car. I contacted at least 10 dealerships across the country telling them that I was looking for 12% to 13% off MSRP and .00138 MF. Only two dealerships responded to my email.

If they are willing to deal then you should be able to get down to $108,500 (12% discount). The MSRP on my car was $128,500 and I got it for $113,000. I can't figure out what is different on the car you are looking at from mine but the MSRP $5K less (I have all the same packages and the performance exhaust jus like this one).

I completed my deal with Steve Thomas BMW and had the car delivered to Dallas on Saturday. Only have 200 miles on it and absolutely love it!!!!!! The performance exhaust is amazing!!!

Good luck!
