As much as I loved the Riviera Blue this Pearl Mexican Blue is even better IMO. Bet it looks amazing on the road. New wheels and brake color tie it all in very nicely.

Thanks though! But man this car is fast. I actually feel like the ECU needed some time adjust to the new mods too. Last weekend she just felt faster for some reason. What's even better is that when the tires are warmed up I have had no real issues with traction. For the street and with all the extra mods for power I am finding that 50% throttle is now the same as 100% throttle and the car just flies with such little application of throttle. I'm also absolutely loving these Cool Carbon and EBC brake pads for street driving. It's like a whole different ownership experience now. No dust, no squeal, great stopping power. I will say that the initial pad bite is softer and smoother than before well actually the brakes do feel a lot smoother now in general. My interior upgrades will be done in a couple of weeks. I'm just waiting on a couple more things and then I'll unveil the new interior look to you all soon.

RPiM5 been inspired by your v3.0 and I am in the process of getting v4.0 of my beast done. What differential fluid have you used? Original BMW? how often do you change it? I am at 45k miles now and I think it is time for change, would appreciate your help.
also, is this the brake fluid you have used? would you recommend it as well? https://www.amazon.co.uk/ATE-0399016...ATE+Super+Blue Thanks in advance Looking forward to see your interior upgrades! |

We also used OEM fluid for the diff. My interior updates suffered a serious setback due to the manufacturer of one of my new parts accidentally sent me the wrong part number. It was supposed to be done weeks ago, but now it may be another month.

hey Dave, great looking M5! i was wondering about those yellow calipers. did you have the old ones repainted or did you get new ones? as far as the rotors did you replace them also. i noticed that the hats of the old ones in the pic were pretty beat? i am starting to have the same problem with my hats, but not sure what to use to clean them or just replace them.
Can't wait to see the interior after the update. car looks sick man, and gives hope to the rest of us weho plan on keeping them for many miles. |
