Stable Mates - ColdList Garage :-)

On a whim added this triple black F12 M6 to our garage a week ago. Lowered on H&R, spaced on Macht Schnell, blacked out courtesy of IND, body color door painted handles by Magnum, Bel StiR PLUS remote radar/laser detectors, Laser Interceptor jammers, M6 coupe rear decklid and front lower lip spoiler. Clear bra and tint being installed Thurs.

Not going too crazy on this one. Wife's DD (sort of :-) so keeping the OEM wheels for as long as I can control myself...

Will post better pics later.

Enjoy!

Thanks Henry!

Funny thing is I saw your post and I went to drive one and I found that Porsche was just not quite for me (yet). Waiting on that Turbo in December but I still believe I will be BMW through and through. The C2 was a very cool car. Just a matter of personal preference. Yours is GORGEOUS. :-)

Good eye-- thats because the H&R springs on the F12/13 chassis drop the car 1 inch all the way around. Its a more aggressive look than that of the F10 M5 H&R setup.

When I have my M5 and M6 side by side the fenders gaps are greater on the 5 front and rear.

I love the double ///M's, but if it was me and the wife had to have a convertable, I'd have gotten the E64 M6, so that we could really have the best of both worlds.

E64 M6? No way bro. This is by far the best of both worlds! Nothing like hauling butt during the day in the M5 and then jumping in the M6 top down to grab a pizza at night. :-)

Same setup as I have on the M5. Bel StiR Plus for radar and laser detection and the Laser Interceptor jammers. Have dual HP sensors on the front and standard dual sensors on the rear. The front HPs give you protection from overpass shots and are a higher powered beam. I have had mine tested locally against 5 popular guns. The only one that could get a read was a Stalker II and it didn't read until I was within 20'. I could be at a complete stop by then. Almost every gun threw ZERO error codes as well so there would be no indication of a JTG (jam to gun). I did a ton of research a few years back before first getting them. I cannot tell you how many times the LI has paid for itself. Cool thing is that it it totally upgradeable at any time with a laptop. Just had mine done to include a couple of new guns being used in FL. My installation is totally stealth as well on both cars. Display for the Bel is etched behind the rear view mirror and you can read it clearly in the mirror. I really have no use for every touching the controller. I set the Bel on autoscan (works PERFECTLY fine in all environments). I have it set to auto-mute so it mutes quickly after initially alarming. It also has GPS so it automatically registers false signals. No real need to mark anything. The red light camera database is comprehensive too. I mounted all the controls inside the compartment to the left of the steering wheel on the M5 so I can reach them if I need to but after NEVER doing so I had the controls totally hidden behind the side dash panel at the passenger door and a tiny micro switch mounted between the console and where it meets the carpeting on the floor in the M6. The switch turns both the Bel and the LI on and off and is totally invisible. Could not recommend two products any higher. You can find the bundle on the Laser Interceptor USA website. Their support is stellar as well. Whole setup will run you just over $3k installed including mirror etching for the display. On yeah, also placed the led alert light in the area between the dash and the A pillar just in case. This way I have two places to see an alert if the radio is up and I don't hear the audible alert. Although the LI siren is loud.

the LI siren is very loud! sounds like a ambulance in your dashboard. i second this, although my set up is slightly different (passport ci with 4 shifters, 2 front 2 back, LI regular up front. etched rearview. installation like 3500 all in). has saved me from 2 sure fire +30mph tix. worth it right there.
