Garage List
My car sat at VPC for a while as well. I don't think this is abnormal. It part of the ED experience =P, but the wait sucks for sure! It makes it that much better to be reunited.

My car just took over 10 days at the vpc this August in Newark with supposedly "no damage". I think we are getting backed up by solid auto demand in the U.S.

So it took them 10 days to finally tell me the car is on hold for a damage repair..

So what now? Hopefully they've started it sooner aka 9/9 rather than today to fix because otherwise I'll be heated.

What's the next step since they do have it damaged? Call BMW NA?

EDIT: So terrible news, there's not only damage, but my estimated delivery time to my dealership is the 27th of this month!

THAT'S ALMOST 10 WEEKS (two days off 10 weeks anyway) for redelivery. Dropped it off on 7/21 and redelivery on the 9/27...

That's just NOT OKAY.

That sounds like a month or two of comped payments to me.

BMWNA, I tried calling at that number but no response today, will try again. Didn't check this thread for a few days.

So it's 9/26. Tomorrow is my estimated delivery day! So excited..

Oh wait a minute, the car hasn't been released from the VPC yet it was done being repaired on 9/22..

So the 9/27 delivery is out the window.

I dropped my car off on July 22 and the ship departed on Aug 8. The rest of the dates are identical to yours. I had a tiny scratch that took them almost 2 weeks to fix. Car was just released either yesterday or the day before and it arrived at my dealer this morning.
Yours should be coming very soon!

Update: it's October 1st. Car is supposedly not damaged but awaiting a part for an intercooler recall. At the VPC for already 22 days and no clue when it's leaving. This is BEYOND aggravating. So god damn frustrating.

Hi Chipped B6. Very sorry for hijacking this tread but I can't reply to your PM about tires. Says PM box is full.
