Smallest Rear OEM BMW Wheel.

Has anyone experimented with any 18" wheels for the rear? I'm thinking OEM E39 M5 or E38 M-parallels. looking to get something a lot lighter to slap some mickey Thompsons on.

If you are looking for a wheel you do not want to care about, maybe check out Apex wheels. Very affordably priced and lot of M3 guys use them for the track. Sure mostly road course, but they might have a fitment that will suit your needs. They have 18's. Good luck!

You can fit 18" on the rear of F10 M5? I thought smallest you can go is 19" because of those big discs.

You guys are dreaming. lol

MOST, and I mean... 95% of 19" on this planet will not fit, the other 5% of the 19" that do fit, were simply DESIGNED to fit around these specific brakes.

18"?

I don't drag lol, but I've tested dozens of rims on these cars, even found many 20's that did not clear calipers (OEM & AM)

ok. i'll also check the 19's from the e63 m6 as well. im really just looking for a wheel that I don't care too much about. something i can just throw in the corner of my garage when i'm not using it.

19" stockers if you can find them used and cheap is about the only 19" rim that will fit.
18" is where the good drag radials start. Man... if we could fit an 18" Hoosier!!

The best option for DR's on the F10 M5 are still the stock 345M wheels if you don't want to modify the stock brake rotors.

I have 19x9 on my winters now and the rears are actually pretty tight. the rear caliper is thicker (taller) than the fronts. clearance between the caliper and the wheel drum is a bit tight. i dont know if you can fits 18s on this car.
