Awesome thats good to know. Ive been looking at the MT et street s/s. Was thinking r888r or nt05 but ill use michelins most the time and then MT for 1/4 and the high speed events they do here (over 1 mile)

I would say as soon as you put mt streets on. And if you check there website they don’t list them anymore.

Axles and a stronger diff mount is critical if you plan to drag the car. These two will break over time even if you never launch the car.

Argh man ok im gonna hunt down some driveshafts over winter. Ive seen the dss ones. And as for diff mounts i had no idea ill have to do my homework on them. I see your custom upgrade on your build thread though.

I may have a carbon driveshaft available. Likely I need to get a slightly shorter one in which case I will sell the standard length one

Hmmm? You're just teasing us now. You haven't changed the differential. What would require a different length driveshaft? The DCT in our cars is wonderful for many things, but ultimate 1/4 mile times isn't one of them. Have you managed to fit a different transmission?

the New M5 Stock ran a 11.1 sec at 136mph, AWD and traction makes a big difference.

Can't wait to see what my car will run with some slicks on it when i get it back.

Where specifically do you reinforce or brace the diff mount to prevent most of the twisting? Any way you can post some pics of where you did this on your car?

U sure 136mph? Even with 800 crank hp, the F10 never hit 136. It took closer to 950 to hit 140!

Agree. I believe it was 11.1 at 127 mph

I bought some 19’s and MT ET streets and hoping I can break into the 10’s. We will see come May when they have open drag nights. All I’m planning is catless plus bootmod3.

Hoping the OEM hold up. I will probably only go to the track a few times since it is a 2.5 hour drive. Use MPSS on my daily wheels so stress would only be on the few drag runs

Errr you could be right. Need to watch the review again. It's trap speed and time was faster than E63s and RS7 performance.
