Took a drive after few weeks

Have been driving my Cayman for few weeks and when I did drive the M5, it was with the family.

This car is a lot of fun in a different way!!! Now I am realizing that I need an exhaust. My Cayman has sport exhaust and it sounds amazing!

Yes it's bigger and heavier but it's still fun to drive...

once you get an exhaust, it will be completely new experience

this car needs a character and stock exhaust keeps it at prius level

Actually it is a fact the car needs exhaust -

I have been hunting for CP Mufflers to install instead of my stock non CP and not sure about any worthy real sound gains loudness and burbles?

Any input?

The Dinan exhaust is great, not too loud but low and rumbly and NO DRONE. I am really interested in how it is going to sound with the Noelle's I have on order.

after doing a 2 day Porsche driving school and getting back into my m5 i realize I need my suspension upgraded and a new exhaust stat!

The porsche sport exhaust at wot is a wondrous sound.

I too own a 981 Cayman with PSE along with my F10 M5. The Cayman ride, exhaust and bold styling is simply an amazing collective package that puts a massive smile on my face each time I take it out. This is my first P-car. With that said, the Jeckyl and Hyde of the M5 is a very different experience that I shake my head in awe each time I squeeze the throttle to the floor and feel that intoxicating torque! Tow different cars, two different and pleasing experiences ... I know I am set up with the best of all worlds in two crass that meet all needs!

Well said. I hated all these threads popping up comparing an M5 (heavy 4 door luxurious car albeit very fast) to sports cars. They obviously missed the point.
