Dinan Stage 1 tune before first service

I was wondering if doing the first 1200 mile service will screw up the tune in any way shape or form... Thanks in advance for info.

I wouldn't think so. DINAN usually follows these threads and there is a good chance they will chime in (probably after the weekend).

I would probably wait anyways get a feel for the car and just make sure there are no issues. Then after the break in get a few high speed and acceleration runs in that way when you get the tune you will be able to appreciate right away how significant the gains are.

Also if for whatever reason the tune doesn't take you will notice that also.

Short answer is, no, the service will have no bearing on the tune. Enjoy the rest of the holiday weekend.
